You may reinstall it. You just aren't allowed to move it from box to box.

Can I get updates from microsoft updated if I reinstalled it anytime?

Reply to Nerox

YES, you can get updates
YES, you can get a new license key if you need to reinstall
YES, you may reinstall on the same computer as many times as you like

The difference between OEM and Retail is that with OEM you aren't allowed to move the license to a different computer.

so when you say i can get a new license key do you mean I need to buy another one?

Reply to Nerox

NO, you do not need to buy another. You get a certain amount of reinstalls on the same key. if you exceed that, then you will be prompted to call Microsoft. Tell them you reinstalled on the same computer, and they will GIVE YOU FOR FREE a new key.

It's not really a key, it's a product authorization code. Your Windows Product Key doesn't change.
