I have downloaded the installer of Windows Transformation Pack v. 8.0.1.0, and I know that it is a "imitation of Vista", but because I like Vista's look but I don't like getting the OS itself due to the bugs that it had had since the release. What are your opinions of the Transformation Pack 8.0.1.0 so far? I want to ask before I risk installing the VTP into my XP computer.

It modifies a lot of system files in Windows XP (the new icons must be stored somewhere). And, well... it's a skin. There's a possibility it will make your rig slower.

well I can't install it on my machine. its setup just keep failing with an unhandled dll exception.any suggestions ?? i love to get feel of vista on xp.
