hi

i'm on a pc that is connected to my wireless access point (dlink 624+)
That access point is connected with my main router (linksys), together with 3 wired pc's.
All the computers and laptop are in the same domain (oil), but can't see each other...

is there a way of fixing this?

thnx

Folders shared on all the computers? Firewall settings correct to allow sharing?

Do you have an actual domain with DNS and a Domain Controller, or are they on a Workgroup?

If the latter, you probably just need to tweak the Windows firewall to allow file & printer sharing through. You should maybe also allow ICMP traffic (ping) so you can make sure they can all see each other on an IP level.

If you have an actual domain, you should also make sure that all the client machines are configured to use the domain's DNS server rather than your ISP's.

the folders are shared, vista firewall is set to allow, kaspersky also, guest accounts are all ok

the dns settings are all set to automatic, and i have internet on all pc's, but i can't get into the files from the wireless to the wired one...

if you do in fact have a windows Domain

you should not have the DNS set to AUTO cause it is going to likely pick up the router as the DNS server and that is going to make all kinds of AD stuff break not the least of which being file sharing.

you should manually enter the IP of the DC in the DNS tab.
