Has anyone had any experience with the academic versions? I can order an academic version of Vista Home Premium 64 bit and it says it is the full version yet sold as OEM. Does this mean it is a full version but the license is OEM restricting it to the original motherboard?

Correct
------------------------------Which Chip? Well, it depends on which set of thieving b@stardz you choose to support: The ones who use insider trading to enrich themselves while running their company into the ground, or the ones who illegally pay vendors to not support the first group.

So I guess I should just get the OEM version and save $30. With the full academic version you get the manual and the pretty box but I don't think I really need that.
