  1. If by any chance you're overclocking try dropping back to stock settings and running the test again and see if it will complete without error.

No, I am not overlocking, at least not yet ...
I tried to find answer on forums but nothing really helps. Funny thing is that I can run 3 D MARK 2006 with no problem but not 05 version!? When I tried to play some games after few minutes I get the same error ... so no playing for me
I have reinstalled OS XP Pro again today and it is the same ...
I have runned 3D Mark 05 like 30 times with different bios and PC setups following forum advices and nothing help ... actually I managed to complete test one time (8707 3D Marks) but with same setup I could not do it again ... I get the same error!

sometimes I get BSODS with the message "ati2dvg.dll" in em. Thats from my X800GT, upgrading to a 7600gt though.
  4. It would help to have the rest of you're specs.

A quick google search shows some similiar situtations stemming from motherboards and bios updates fixing the problem.

Could the problem be that my CPU is on higher GHz by default ?

How come I have error always at almost the same place in 3D MARK05, and as far as I notice it is always during CPU part of test. (I have tried to run test with other card, 9600 XT and it was working fine)... I am lost ....
  6. I'm really just guessing here but I would update you're nforce drivers and if it doesn't solve the problem then the update you're BIOS.

There is also a similiar problem listed in the microsft knowledge base. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q293078
  7. OK guys, this is my current situation! I have tried all sugguestions again and only thing that made difference is this advice I copy because of my bad english:

    "Right click-mouse over My Computer
    Properties
    Hardware(Tab)
    Device Manager(button)
Click [+] next to System devices
right-mouse on CPU to AGP Controller (or whatever your controller is called, mine was SiS AGP)
    Update Driver(button)

Select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)
    Next(button)
Select Don't search. I will choose the driver to install.
    Next(button)
    Select PCI standard PCI-to-PCI bridge
    Next(button)
    Finish(button)
    Reboot."

After this all works without error but this is not option because I get arround 30-50 % les FPS and my score in 3 D MARK arround 3000 less, so ...

Can someone explain from this what is really going on ?
