hi i need help badly

k there is a virus of somesort on my new pc and i think i have to reinatall win xp. but my pld pc has an IDE drive and i want to use that drive instead. i was thinking of removing all the drivers in my pld pc and install the old HDD into my new pc.

what i want to kno is if this will work.

pls reply ASAP im in a pretty bad situation cus i need my new pc to get some important work done and i need good advice.

Yes you can setup windows on a different machine then once all done you can put the hd in the new computer.

I would suggest you not to install any drivers of the old machine just a plain setup.

Best to uninstall all the old drivers and run Windows repair and then install the drivers from the new mobo. You'll have to reverse this when you reinstall it in your old machine
