Before getting my new PC, I attempted to install Windows XP Media Center on my old Dell. It didn't work (stupid Dell), and now when I start up I have to chose between Windows XP Home and Windows XP Pro (home is the real install, Pro just gives me an error). How can I get rid of that at startup so that it just boots straight into my real Home install?

I went to msconfig and under boot.ini found the check boot paths option. It just told me that all paths are ok. I was able to set my install as default so that I don't have to change it at startup, but does anyone know of a way to actually remove the part of the install fully so I don't have to even see that screen? I tried just deleting the folder, but that didn't work and I can't just delete in the boot.ini settings.

Right click on My Computer --> Properties --> Advanced tab --> Startup and Recovery Settings --> Edit. Remove the incorrect line from boot.ini.
