With XP at boot it gave u the choice of installing hardware or drivers - ie. u could cancel instal and do a search for
driver, etc yourself manualy at any time.
With Vista Home Premium u are not given the choice to cancel auto instal.
It instals then you have to uninstall driver and manually instal the driver u want 
Q: Is a way around this auto install, ie. the same option as XP.
