I will be installing XP Pro OEM on a new system tonight. 150G raptor. Should I partition off 20 gigs or so for OS and leave the rest for programs? I have 2 500G that I plan to put in RAID 1. I'm trying to decide if it will be beneficial to partition the raptor or if that's not worth it. Thanks!

That would work. For XP, I think you could even do 10GB and be fine. The good thing about partitioning is that if your OS gets corrupted, then you can do a clean install w/o losing the rest of the drive. Other than that, there aren't really many advantages besides organization.
