x1950 XT Help!

Ok, i wanted to OC the sapphire x1950 Xt. I was using ATI tool and utilized the find max core button, @ 685 it rebooted my comp. So i put it back to normal speeds and i looked @ my fps and it went down by 40 !!! Can someone please help me, this is killing me, does the reboot mean the GPU was damaged? What caused this drop in FPS!!

nvm its fine, but i think im getting lower FPS then usual..i mean i have an x1950 XT and an e6420, but im only getting like 300 FPS in cod 2 which isnt that good
