Just wanted to share this information with fellow Vista users who apply Vista Updates. Windows Vista downloaded the latest critical updates on my computer, and just after the updates were applied, IE 7.0 would not load a web page. I went through and started to uninstall the Vista updates from 02-12-2008 one at a time, and discovered that the update called KB944533, which is a critical update for IE 7.0 (cumulative security update) was the culprit. After this was removed, I could again view web pages. Unfortunately this patch is supposed to be a critical one, but since it seems it doesn't work, (at least for me), hopefully Microsoft can address the issue. Hope this helps anyone with this unfortunate issue.
