Taskbar too big

Taskbar itself is too tall and wide on Display.

Right click the desktop and go to preferences, change the resolution to something lower if you're at 1600*1200 then change it to 1024*768 or such. also if using a CRT monitor check your borders and go through the menu, you could have an overscan or something similar turned on.
