I have a Wireless WRT54G Router from Linksys. I can't seem to log in to my router. Website says default is '192.168.1.1' , username is blank, password is 'admin'. I checked ipconfig and the default gateway is correct '192.168.1.1' however I can't log on using 'admin' password. The log in popup just comes again and again after I type it in; after 3 times it goes to a pink page and says 401 Unauthorized, Authorization required.
I checked Linksys website, it says to hit the reset button on the router to return to default settings. I did that for 30 seconds like instructed but still can't log on. I'm getting frikkin pissed. I hate my router!!! Someone please help. I tried calling ISP they told me to contact Linksys. GRRR.
Anyone please help, I'm desperate. I need to download torrents! Play games!
