"HP Pavilion Elite HPE" with Windows 2000 ?

Hey, I got a HP Pavilion Elite HPE computer with vista installed, but I would like to install a older software like Windows 2000 or something so I could play some older games, can this be done or would it **** up my pc ? thx

Depending on the graphics needs of your older games, a good option might be to install VirtualBox to create one or more virtual Windows installations inside Vista. I have Windows 7, and am using VirtualBox to run Windows XP, 2000, and even DOS 6.2 with Windows 3.1! It is also a good way to experiment with Linux and other operating systems.

Or even DosBox for Dos games thats a good virtual machine, very easy.
