I thought about polling this instead of just asking the question but decided against it...

So now that we're just over a year into Vista, which version to buy? Home Premium or Ultimate for home use? I've looked at the tables online and don't see a need for ultimate for me but am looking for other folks opinion.

Home premium is probably all you want. I got Ultimate but aside from the ability to use dreamscene (the animated wallpaper) I haven't seen much from Ultimate by way of 'extras'. Ultimate does a few other things home won't but I've forgotten exactly what. I just know I'm not using them. LOL
