Greetings,

I've just built my new computer and I want to have a CD image of my operating system. Problem is, I already installed few games and programs. Is there a way to create a restore-DVD-image of my operating system for future use?

I have 2 HardDisks I have Xtreme2 Recovery in my motherboard P35 DSLR GIGABYTE if these helps. The GIGABYTE backs up in a partition(I dont want to partition my HD) so I scratched Xtreme Recovery 2 from my options.

What's the best way to have a DVD that restores your system?

Yeah you can, there are tons of options out there. A lot of them are even free.

Check some of these out:

Seagate even has their own software that is free you can get from their website, it works within windows. You can make a backup of an image on the hard drive, and save it to another hard drive. You can do DVD's but keep in mind they have to be smaller then that, unless of course the software allows you to span them over multiple dvd's.
