How to burn an ISO image to a USB stick

Hello, Tom:
I have an ISO image of "Hymera" Linux that I would like to burn to a USB stick. I want a 'Live Linux' distribution on a USB stick so I may install it on a Dell c610 notebook that doesn't have a DVD drive.
I have access to Linux Mint, Hymera and Windows XP PCs to create the Live USB stick, but have not been able to find a suitable application to do the job. I would really appreciate your advice. Thank you in advance,
Jim Kirkey

  1. The easiest way I have found is the UNetbootin program
http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/ it has Binaries for Windows and Linux.
  2. unetbootin is the way to go. It is very easy to use. I think it is included on some of the live distros. Boot the computer to a live distro, then have the live distro create the USB version for you.
  3. This is a duplicate of another thread which already has a couple of good answers. See:
