I purchased xp home a few years ago, so I have the disk. I just built a new computer and used the old hard drive with windows already on it. It booted up just fine, and everything is running great.

I formated an old hard drive and put it in the old computer. Can I use the disk I bought to load windows?

------------------------------ Yes, I've calibrated SpeedFan!

The disk you have will load windows on any hard drive in any system. It's activating the installation online where you will at some point have to call the 800 number for a one time activation key.

If you only have a single Product Key, you can only activate 1 computer at a time.
