Idiot! (The shouter not the OP).

Google "protecting web page source" produces a number of hits for software that encrypts web pages. Can't vouch for any of it, but it might be worth looking at. On the other hand this link talks about the difficulty of completely protecting web pages.

My view would be that anything that you can do is worth it if only to prevent some people from stealing your work. The same principle as locking your front door - it's not going to stop a determined professional but will deter a casual opportunist.
