I did a system restore and went back ONE day to 03/03/08 since I could not get my bittorrent client to work.
I am not sure what happened, but I lost all of my messages on Outlook.
I had Outlook/Office installed way before yesterday (over two months Office has been installed).
I thought in order for my messages to be affected the restore point had to be before Office/Outlook was installed..
But that was not the case-I did a system restore to yesterday and the messages didn't come back up and Outlook did an initial setup when I first booted it up..I also lost all of my bookmarks on firefox

Is there any way to get those messages back? Are they on my hard drive somewhere?
I would have done a backup of the mail folder if I knew that was going to be affected...

Any assistance would be appreciated..

Jim
