Ok,

First off I just got my 32bit ultimate edition from my school the other day.
I bought it because friends and people online told me that you can use the Vista Alternate Media order website to get your 64bit version.
I tried this last night and it told me offer not found. I called microsoft today... they told me I have to go through the reseller from the school to obtain my 64bit copy. Ok.... so I called the school and they said they dont sell any 64bit versions. Now I am getting ticked... I know there is a way to do it because so many others have done this with ease. I know people have said that you cant do that with OEM versions and that mine is like OEM.
If thats the case I would not have bought it.
I am sure someone else has done this and if so can you please help guide me in the right direction to do this. I would very much appreciate it as I have 4gigs of ram and a 64bit processor going to waste since I have a 32bit dvd. Any help is appreciated!!!!

Did you open it? If not, return it. OEM do not have the possibility of having both version. You must buy the 64bits version. They have a good price but they are also non transferable to a new computer.

A retail version is very expensive but live longer. Will be upgradable and transferable in the future.
