Inconsistent frames on my new 8800GTX?

I just bought an 8800GTXOC2, and I'm getting really bizarre frame rates between games. For example, I get 108 average on Company of Heroes on full, but only 25 average on F.E.A.R WITHOUT soft shadows.
Is there something wrong with my card? Or is it something else?

Witch resolution do you play F.E.A.R at? and with what video settings?

I'm only playing at 1280x768
It wouldn't concern me too much, but I got 40 frames average with my 7900GT

HA! I just turned off XFire and ran the stress test. Before, the maximum frame rate was 36, now it's 132! Thanks for the help guys!

Yeah for some reason Xfire really screws with FEAR. I found that out after a few hours of kicking myself in the butt about why I was getting poor frames and then I rebooted and shut everything off and was like well now it's running good WTH?! Glad that was all it was. Take care dude.
