I recently installed Vista Ultimate 64 on my pc I built, but I'm having problems after the installitation with being able to use my extra 2 gb of ram or my Raid-0 config. Any help on why it won't load up when I connect the extra ram or the other hd's?

Some more information on your PC would help. So would some more information on what "won't load up" means.

Memory:
How about the BIOS? Is it showing 4GB? Some MB must enable something like "memory remapping".

RAID:
Are you capable to see the option will booting to access your RAID menu?

We need more information.

Yes, the bios registers both the memory and I set the other hd's up in raid through the mb bios so they're both recognized by it. My setup is vista ultimate 64, 150gb hd, 2 250gb hd's, 4 (1x1)gb of ram, on a striker 2 formula board. Once I connect them though I just bluescreen and can't get past that unless I unhook them and run the system without. I had the bootmgr error while installing with all the hd's connected so i unhooked the 2 in raid, and i had heard not to install vista with more than 2 gb of ram so i didnt put that in either. Now that i have everything installed and have ran all the updates I still am having trouble with it.

For the RAM, yes you must install with 2GB and install a patch.

After you install the patch, must reboot to windows and shutdown to install rest of your ram.

For the RAID, may be related to ram problem. I would keep the raid but only 2gb of ram. Once all installed + Windows updates + patch, then 4GB.
