I am trying to set up a small USB light behind my monitor... to give a bit of ambient light and as well looking sorta cool with light coming from behind monitor against wall.

My question is this.. I wouldn't want the UBS light to be on at all times... each time I start my computer during the day.

Is there anyway to toggle the USB so that it stops giving power and turns on when I want? I have several other USB devices so I wouldnt want to shut them all off.

If this is possible, or you can think of another solution, please let me know. Thanks

USB is power by the motherboard, you can control the data part on or off but not the power, wire a switch in the harness to the light
