To install ALL programs on one HD and have both OS use them on a dual boot?
By "ALL", I mean OS and 32 or 64 bit compatible software. I got Mozilla to work, but Crysis, Daemon, Logitech input software, and all other games haven't.
Details: I have a partitioned HD with XP and Vista on it. I would like to install all my apps and games on my second HD and have both OS access them. The OS I used to install games and apps on can access those programs just fine. I assume it's because of registries that the other OS can't access them...
Also, will there be a folder destination problem because each OS makes the drive it's on letter "C"? Example, 2 partion, one 100 and one 150. In XP, the 150 will be C drive and the 100 will be D. It is opposite when I run Vista. The 100 is C drive and the 150 is D drive. (I know I can manage HD's and change drive letters; just forgot to do it before I installed a bunch of programs)
And could the drive letters lead to problems from the first question.
