Printer error 308 solution

Anyhelp with printer error 308 solution would be appreciated.

Sorry I was on vacation. It is a
W2K laptop. The printer is a HP C4480 and the error is "printer error 308"

WHOOOPS!!!!!! I made a mistake on the printer error number. It should be 380 and not 308.

Follow these steps to reset the printer:

Double check the ink make sure its compatible. Call HP. Dont tell them you are running Windows 2000

I am not showing results for a 380 error.

The dialogue box I get when I attempt to print is " Printer error. /The error is 380"

As for resetting the printer the first instruction you gave is not applicable to my style printer. (not a printer with alpha/numeric buttons)
