After having a hard drive crash and lost all my data, I've been using Acronis True Image 7 for backing up my Win XP desk top hard drive to an external drive. Unfortunately, I can't get it to work on my daughter's new Vista lap top. Can anyone recommend a good (preferably free/cheap) back up program that works for Vista and XP and can create a boot disk for restore? (or explain how to get Acronis to work with Vista).
Thanks!

I think there's actually a free utility that is called clonezilla that is supposed to be like a free/open source version of norton ghost, etc.
