I just upgraded the HD on my laptop so figured since I wanted to take the time to reinstall everything anyways I added SP1 to the mix.
The first major advantage to doing that... didn't have to spend massive time doing all the updates. They were all included... though I did run it and go to bed.
Next, upgraded to 4 Gb of ram. System before only say 3 but I was hoping they would fix that with sp1... and they did. My laptop recognizes all 4 gb.
Past that... I am not sure. I just finished getting everything up and running about 30 min ago.
However... not one issue in doing any of that. Everything installed fine, seems to be working fine, and doing what it is supposed to.

lilsage windows may now recognise your 4Gb but u wont b using it all, all it simply does is recognise its there. If ur using 32bit OS which sounds like u r.
Sorry if u already knew this, jus didnt want u mislead into thinking ur now using 4Gb under a 32Bit
Running SP1 myself now, cant say i've noticed a gr8 deal of difference, my HDD doesnt seem to b going nuts all the time anymore which is nice lol
And coping files to a DVD -R Disk seems to b quicker, otherwise i haven't noticed a gr8 deal, maybe as i do more things i'll notice performance improvements.
Overall so far happy with the upgrade as its not caused me any probs, and given me a couple of improvements
SP1 reset all my activation codes for my Microsoft Products including Vista & Halo 2... Halo 2 won't work because it says I already reach my activation limit (guess you only get to activate once because that's ill I've done), and Vista is threatening to disable itself if I don't reactivate it, but it won't let me click on the links to do so, and today is the last day to do it.... This freakin sucks.... Think I'm going back to XP, Vista is no better then Windows Me, IMO...
I haven't noticed any issues yet... nor have I noticed any improvements. Although, I'm currently only using it at the office on Vista Business... I'll have to see if it makes a difference on the laptop.
I was playing a video game, when I remembered that SP1 was out. So I closed everything out and started the process. After it was finished I re-opened my game and it locked up on me while 15mins into it. Not sure if this was due to the update or not. I couldn't Alt+Tab out but it did Ctrl Alt Del...
