I enjoy seeing pictures of other's rigs and case mods, so I'm creating a thread for anyone who wants to to post pictures of their rigs and cases, and answer/ask and questions anyone might have. I'll start.

you took a gateway case and beautified it... excellent

That TT120 looks MASSIVE in your rig! 8O It would be interesting to see how much of a cooling difference replacing that rear 80mm fan with a 120m fan would make on case/CPU temps. You have the PSU exhausting from the top, too, but if you a 120mm placed to cover as much area on the TT120 as possible...

Yeah, The TT120 is huge to start off with. My case isn't the biggest. I would have been better off getting the Ttarmour. There isn't even a 1/4" clearance between the side panel and the TT120.. It was a close fit. I can't fit an 120mm in the back. But i do have a high rpm Thermaltake fan. It can move about 75cfm. But when it is moving that air, my temps only change by about 1 or 2c. My cores stay around 25c idle and 35c load. My ambient gets about 45c under load though. But i have a total of 3 80mm fans and a 120mm in the front.

I've had this pc a while and been slowly upgrading most of it, except the ultra sh*tty MSI motherboard which reallly does stink and has caused me much frustration (as you can probably see).
I call the case "The ACME Air Vent 6000" with self removing front panel feature and integral fist indents tm (patent pending)
Great idea to make it from a vault. Anyone lend me some cutting gear to make holes for fans? Or maybe I could make it out of bricks?

Very nice, I like that case.
So as promised, here's my mini-mod I did this afternoon.
Problem: 2 open 3.5" drive bays.
What I don't have: Money.
What I do have: an old car speaker grill, an extra fan grill, some rubber cement, some tin snips and a brain.
So I got to thinking last night on how to fill that gap, looked around my room for awhile, and came up with this mod:

Not the cleanest mod, but it works and it looks pretty damn good if I do say so myself. It's actually functional too, air is sucked in by the two back fans.

Your gonna need a bigger power supply with that mod. That old car speaker grill came from a '48 Plymouth I believe. You need one of those sun visors from a '53 Chevy on there. Or at least tinted glass. I'm going to post pics of my rig when Cannon sends back my Power Shot 300. Manufacturer defect. I'm expecting the good people over there to send me a better model with a little more power to it's shot. Mine took great blanks and I'm sure you don't want me to bore you to death with those 100% blacked out shots. Your case looks good with the rubber cement and all. I'll post my mine soon.

Please tell me you've done something to better the airflow in your case by now
I'll get some pic's of my setup on here soon
Mines not blingy, but it's clean and simple how I like it. Keep all the sweet pics coming ppl I love it! -

This is my beautiful (not quite dated yet) rig
Specs are P5B deluxe, 1gb patriot xbl, core 2 e6300 @ 3.5 (500x7) with a 1:1 ram ratio, some hdds lol (3 160s (2 in raid 0 for vista ultimate) and 1 200) 7950gt @700 core, 1600 mem, custom water cooling loop, and a crappy psu. Here is a pic (wiring is not up to par, I'm quite a n00b, but hey we all gotta start somewhere lol). ![]()

I usually get my modding stuff from Frozen CPU. Their prices are very similar to Newegg (with what they share as merchandise) but they specialize in custom mod gear.
