This error appears everytime I start up my computer and ever since it appeared I could not play any Source engine game. Any time I attempt to play one of these games I get this error.

Is the error evidence of malware or anything of the sort. I deleted all BN*.tmp files from the C:\WINDOWS\Temp folder but the files reappear on restart.
