Would like to find a BIOS for Linux 64.
Legacy AMD mainboard. MachSpeed "MSNV939"
Athlon 64 X2 4200+
2Gig Kingston KVR400X64C3A/512
Seagate ST3320620A 3.AAE 320 Gig PATA drive
Geforce 7950 GX2-512 DDR3

Current BIOS dysfunctional; Phoenix-Award Workstation BIOS 6.00PG
Current BIOS: 03/13/2007,"NF-CK804-6A61FBO9C-00"

System does not see RAM in slots 1&2 (only slots 3&4), intermittent POSTs.
Have had Redhat up and running to internet but, after 10th session suffered bitrot after reconfiguring CMOS.
Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Because the instability only occurs in LINUX, thanks.

Because not all BIOSes play nicely with Linux (Foxconn comes to mind). You're more than welcome.
