Slow boot?

I buiklt a new system recently, specs are as follows:

Intel E8400
2 Gigs RAM
IP35 Pro Mobo

I use Vista Haome Premium 64bit and ever since the word go I think the boot up time might be pretty slow. After the screen with the horizontal loading bar the screen will just go black for about 1 minute before the circular windows logo pops up and the login screen appears. I was just wondering if this is a fairly normal or not. Thanks for your help.
