Hey

I worked for a company which makes SCO (self scan checkouts) running on Win 2000.

Sometimes the store will turn off/on a machine causing it to load the Windows Boot Menu (same as F8) Because there is no countdown timer and the scos dont have keyboards the till is then useless till we send an engineer out with a keyboard. This is costly both financially and in time.

We need to disable the menu somehow so it just boots normally.

We never use safe mode as any issues we PXE boot and rebuild.

I have seen a reg edit which cause the machine to blue screen but thats no good for us.

Any suggestions?

I assume you are already running in kiosk mode? I am surprised kiosk mode does not have boot-up options.
