Hi Everyone,

I am having a problem using Norton Ghost 14 that i can't seem to solve. I have two brand new HP laptops, identical models. I setup one how i want it, and took an image of it using Ghost onto an external hard drive. I created a boot cd, and booted up the second laptop with it. It boots into Ghost, i select the image i made previously, and then restore this image to the second laptop. When that is done and i restart i get the error "missing operating system".

I am not sure what to do. I have searched the net for this problem, but have not come across something exactly the same. Am i using Ghost for something for which it was not intended?

Possibly due to copyright concerns?

2) Its not Ghost Its DRM and Msoft.

Did the second laptop work before you attempted to Ghost over the O/S?
