Windows blinking in Vista Ultimate 64?

Anyone have this problem where sometimes your windows just blink at a frequency of a couple of seconds? It also makes the Start Menu go away if you open it and not click fast enough, making it a pain to log-off (which usually corrects the issue). It seems to be randomly occurring with no pattern. I’m not sure what’s happening, but it looks like it’s changing focus to something else.

-Update display/video drivers?
-Does the monitor support your current refresh rate?
-Overclocked your system?

Found the solution. Killing Outlook.exe via the Task Manager worked for me. It sometimes doesn't close properly.

I know this is an old post but just in case anyone runs into this issue digs this post up. Maybe it's trying to close it over and over again? dunno...
