Hallo zusammen,

ich bin seit gestern stolzer BEsitzer eines IPAQ 6515.

Nach Einrichtung der Syncronisation mit unserem Firmen Lotus Notes
Adressbuch habe ich auch wie gewohnt die Kontakte im Adressbuch.

Jetzt zu meinem Problem.

Die Rufnummern haben das Format
+49/xxx/yyy-zzz
was bei dem alten IPAQ 5550 beim Wählen über Bluetooth in Verbindung mit
einem Handy auch kein Problem war.

Nur der 6516 bricht jetzt nach der Ländervorwahl ab.

Ein Kollege hatte auf seinem MDA Compact mit T-Mobile Branding das gleiche
Problem,
nachdem er den MDA aber mit dem Vodafone Rom vershen hat, klappt es ohne
Probleme.

Daher die Frage, gibt es eine andere Telefonapplikation die in der Lage ist
mit den
Nummern umzugehen, den eine Änderung aller Nummern scheidet als Möglichkeit
aus.

I don't know about you, but I cannot make head or tail of what he is
asking from the "translated" english text. Google, as well as (all)
other translation software is pretty useless here.

Right ! Maybe I'm just used to decipherping unintelligible *english*
on the newsgroups - I need to get a life ;-)

What seemed to be the question was :

When getting contacts from Loyus Notes to his IPAQ 6515 address book,
it couldn't take mobile numbers in the format `+49/xxx/yyy-zzz`
because it wasn't allowing the data to have a slash after the +49
country code.

His previous IPAQ 5550 allowed bluetooth transfer of these numbers to
the address book in the above format. The current address book
terminates the number after the country selection (the +49 part of the
number)

So the request was : Is there any other address book he can load onto
the IPAQ 6515 which he can sync with Lotus notes, that won't terminate
the number at a slash character.

Everyone seems to have a great time translating, but I'm not seeing any
answers. I can read enough to get the gist and the translations have it
pretty well. I would question whether it is really a 6515 problem or a cell
phone one. There was the comment that it worked with a 5500 with a cell
phone, but it doesn't say the same cell phone. His friend had a problem and
changed the ROM on the cell phone and fixed it. Seems to me it might be the
phone not responding correctly to the dial string. Might want to try the
6515 with the MDA with Vodafone ROM, to see if it might be a phone issue.

So I don't have a real suggestion except that there is a
microsoft.public.de.pocketpc that Andreas might get more intelligible help
from if he is about as comfortable with English as I am with German.
