Ok I am currently downloading Ubuntu 10.04 and was wondering if the Broadcom BCM94321MC Wireless N card will work right out of the box with 10.04. If not can somebody please point me in the direction for the drivers. I can't remember if I had to find the drivers and such when I had my Dell Inspiron E1405. My current laptop is a Compaq Presario F739WM.

If there is a linux native driver (which I didn't see on my brief glance through Google, doesn't mean it isn't out there), then it'd be as simple as downloading and installing said driver.

If there isn't things get a bit more complicated. You'll need to try to install the Windows driver via ndiswrapper, although there's no guarantee that this will work.

Official documentation would be a good place to start. If that doesn't answer the questions you have, there's Google, or us :)

Good luck.

Thank You. This is what I had to do with my old dell meaning this could take a while cause I cannot access the wireless router since its in the parents room.

Edit: Nevermind, I have a cross over cable. Yay!!
