I tried out the Nero 8 trial which was ok but I don't like showtime as much as Media Center. But when I tried using Media Center it was saying I needed to reinstall Nero so I did and I made sure it was not my prefer player for mp4, vob, bup, or ifo files yet the problem continued. So next I uninstalled Nero 8 and still giving me a "Decoder Error".

Note: Windows Media Player was unaffected by any of this and works fine but for DVD and movie playback I prefer Media Center

Please Help me

I using a Toshiba Satellite notebook with Windows XP Media Center 2005

Try uninstalling all other media players on the machine, especially Real Player.
