Hello all,
I hope I posted this in the right section. If not would a mod please move it to the appropriate section
and accept my appology.

I am wanting to learn about VMWare.
I have searched around on the net and have accomplished nothing but becomming confused.
There are so many different types (VMWare Player, VMware Workstation, VMware ACE, VMware Server,
VMware ESX, ect..),
and amany others.
I have heard about VMWare and I think I have a basic understanding about what it is and/or does.
But my question is this, where do I start??
Do any of you have any advice on a noob getting started with VMWare?? Such as is there a good website
that can tell me the differences between types and offer tutorials or forums in helping me get started?
I am just lost at this point, and am asking for some guidance.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm not an expert but here's some advise. Go here - http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/41 [...] Virtual_PC . Install microsoft virtual pc too. Windows XP Pro SP2 is 1 of the os in the torrent file. I used it and it's working great. I use it and can connect 2 the internet and check 4 virus's and trojan's in my downloads.

the vmware server software is free from vmware, i suggest downloading it and playing with it yourself its the best way to learn.
