I do not have a dvd or cd rom on my PC. I would like to uninstall ubuntu and reinstall windows 7 from a usb bootloader. Can anyone suggest the easiest way to get this done? I have no data to save, this is a new pc.

I hate to simply refer you to a link without saying much, but here is a step-by-step procedure for installing windows 7/vista via a thumb drive.

Make sure that your BIOS will allow a boot from an external device.

To do this, find your motherboard's manufacturer manual and read on how to do this. This is usually done by holding one of the following:
F2, F4, F6, F8, F10, F12, or Delete at startup.

I can refer you to this if you post your motherboard model.

You could also buy a cd/dvd drive for 17.99 from the following link.

I apologize for double posting, but here is an alternate method for the installation should the first one seem a little technical for you.

I also posted before explaining the ubuntu from thumb drive process.

Again, another link. This one is directly from Ubuntu's dev team.

keep in mind that ubuntu should be installed 2nd. The GRUB loader Usually gets corrupted when installing windows 2nd.
