The thing is it seems that all the features in windows 7 were actually planned to be implemented into vista but these didn't reach the final versions as they were rushed out to get vista out and selling :(

Hey guys i'm from the future. Don't buy windows 7 when it comes out. It will have a lot of stability and driver issues for the first 6-8 months and its not worth getting right at release. Stick with vista its a good, fine tuned and stable OS.

It's funny, the more you try to please everyone, the fewer people you end up pleasing. Sometimes I pity Microsoft, but then I remember they're Microsoft.

The one thing I will NOT like if they do is if they do a subscription based system. Even if I pay more for the software, I'd rather buy it once and be done. I hate hate hate the idea of subscriptions for software. Why should I keep paying for something over and over? I already work with Macs at work, and if Microsoft does this.....and if Macs would play my windows games at that point, or linux....I think I would consider it. I hate the whole idea of subscriptions. One reason I will not buy an antivirus like Norton for example. I don't want to keep paying for something I already bought. If Microsoft does the subscription thing, I hope it turns out worse than windows Vista or ME. And I like Vista.
