Hi Everyone,

NVIDIA & PNY are having a contest to help raise awareness of the benefits that Folding@Home has for the scientific community. Therefore they are hosting numerous contests including FREE 3DMARK Vantage key giveaways, Folding@Home challenge and Online Tournaments involving Call of Duty: World at War and Counter-Strike: Source. There is over $150,000 in giveaways so don’t miss this chance to win great prizes!

You only need to register ONCE and you will be signed up for ALL events. Also for the Folding@Home event, you DO NOT need to switch teams. You can still participate in this event while folding your current teams. This is pre-registration, once the events is about to start an email will be sent out to those that have registered with rules and details. These contest are open to US residents only.


There will be 8,000 Vantage Advance Edition keys given out. Plus great prizes for top folding@home contestant and for people running the f@h client the longest.

Here are the prize details:

Folding@Home - Contest scheduled to started on December 15, 2008 but subject to change

You DO NOT have to change teams to participate in these event

Winners for running the program the longest will receive:
1st place = 9800GTX+ 512mb
2nd place = 9800GT 1GB

Winners for the highest point count will get:
1st place = 9800GTX+ 512mb
2nd place = 9800GT 1GB

Not to mention there will be prizes given out daily which includes PNY video cards, memory kits and USB storage drives.

3DMARK Vantage

100 3DMARK Vantage keys Advance Edition given out daily until all keys are gone (8,000 keys in total).
Once all keys are given out PNY will select one lucky winner to receive a GTX280, time to put your new Vantage key to good use

Online Tournament - Some time in January dates TBA.

Both Call of Duty: World at War and Counter-Strike: Source will having the following structure and prizes:

Call of Duty: World at War is a 5v5 Search & Destroy format. Prizes are:
1st place = 9800GTX+ 512MB
2nd place = 9800GT 1GB
3rd place = 4GB 800/4 Memory Kit

Counter-Strike: Source is a 5v5 format. Prizes are:
1st place = 9800GTX+ 512MB
2nd place = 9800GT 1GB
3rd place = 4GB 800/4 Memory Kit
