I have had a problem with my computer for some time now where it freezes and comes up with a blue screen while playing particular games such as world of wacraft and has an error message, this is:

Technical information

*** STOP:0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0xBF1139F8, 0xA889Z99c, 0x00000000)

*** ialmdd5. DLL-address BF1139F8 base at BF075 DateStamp 42dd4778

i beleive the solution to my problem is to underclock my RAM in the BIOS settings but i am unaware of where to go after pressing F" while the computer boots....i'm not a wiz with computers as you may be able to tell by my simple post...

any help would be great, thanks :)

If your computer is not overclocked right now I don't see that being the problem.
Try running one stick of memory at a time if you can to see if it is memory related.
As far as where in the bios it depends on what bios you have. It's not in the same place for all computers.
