hello people, i need to create a windows 98 virtual machine to run a game i been longing to play. it only runs on win 98. changing the compatibility mode on exe files, then running them with xp, doesnt work .
i have the full version of some software called parallels workstation, i also heard about microsoft virtual pc .
I am trying to run the game called Urban Runner : Lost in town .
Yes, my c drive is ntfs file system .
The Virtual pc programs that I try, both microsoft virtual pc and parallels workstation, complain about missing fat32 partition, my c drive doesnt have a valid fat or fat32 partition I am told
Then I run fdisk, but after that I am unable to run setup .
By the way, I use an .iso image of win98 boot cd , and microsoft virtual pc seems to read it just fine .

Try downloading this Siera games fix for running games on XP Supposed to work with Urban Runner but if not let me know and we will persue the virtaul machine root.
I thought Virtual PC emulates a FAT or FAT32 environment that is why it is used on XP by many gamers to run Win9x games. Brat1 did you try the Siera game link I posted others have used it on XP to run your game.
