cant get the scanner to work from the printer to the computor which is windows 7 and the printer is not competable for windows 7
please just advise us how to update the scanner

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

It's not a good idea to put your telephone number up on a public forum, so I've clicked on Report to ask the Moderators to edit it out unless you do it first.

I suspect you tried telephoning the scanner manufacturers - not Tom's. If the maker hasn't provided drivers for Windows 7, you need to buy a newer scanner. Have you been through the Add Printer Wizard to see if the system can find drivers for printing, if not scanning? What make and model is your printer?

Try the Windows Vista driver, it should work for Windows 7.
