I just purchased a new WD Black 640 hard drive. I am looking for a good program to check the integrity of this hard drive, check it for errors etc,etc, would also like a decent speed checker program. Any suggestions?

go to WD site and download the appropriate "Data Lifeguard" app/tool for your drive - either EIDE or SATA. Links here: http://www.wdc.com/wdsearch/search [...] =en-US&sc=
