hi all,
i just got a p180b and i felt that getting a 600 watt power supply would be a decent size power supply. i've heard that i need abnormally long cables to run from the power supply to components becuase of the case. Any thoughts?

You do need longer cables than some PSU's provide. I'm sure someone else will offer an alternative that reaches, but I used a Seasonic S12 and the wiring reached fine. Other than the MoBo power there isn't much of a reach issue btw.

Anyhow there have been lots of discussions of this in the past... I'm sure you could sig one of those up.

Me too. My S12 cable went above the 8800GTS, around the Tuniq and reached that 8-pin power connector with no slack in the cable.

However, it is now more common to find those 8-pin connector extensions.
