after boot my desktop, the monitor has no display and ask me to check the cable. and the debug light with the motherboard said that the bios sign on, but it doesn't change anyway......all fans on, harddriver light off

now only have cpu, gpu, mem, are pluged on the motherboard. already buy a new gpu and a 650w power, but there is no change.

and the last time when i boot it, the system hung on when checking the on-board network chip. After i rebooted, this happens...

my system is: athlon 64 3500, msi k8n neo2 platinum, the old gpu is leadtek 6800gt and the new one is 1950pro, power is from coolermaster.

Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

so the msi d-bracklet is stuck at bios sign on? Resetting cmos would be the 1st thing to do. Then reseating everything.

What was the last thing you did before it "died"?

Everything have been reset, and the last thing is that i preseed the wrong button so system suspended, after robooting, the system hang on when checking the netcard.

Now the new MB is on the way. hopefully it's not the cpu's problem.

I would say it's the mobo. I've heard of similiar horror stories about the power saving. In most cases, the mobo would not wake up anymore.
