I have only one computer with only one printer. Under my Network Connection properties, do I need "Client for Microsoft Networks" and "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" installed? I have a cable modem broadband connection to the internet.

Thanks.

I wouldn't say that you need them... but on the other hand, you're really not going to free up any resources by removing them... so why bother? If you leave them in place now, then you won't have to wonder why any future networking you do doesn't work.
