Hi I've just found the new Optiarc Drives manufactured by Sony & NEC http://www.ishift.co.uk/index.asp?function=DISPLAYPRODU... Has anybody tried these new drives yet? What is the general consensus? and furthermore. Is it a good price on the site link above?

i dont know how much 16.5 punds is off the top of my head, but an OEM runs about $35 shipped, here in the US.
